DC Veg Fest
Some SFA members made it to the DC Veg Fest this weekend despite the rain and as usual it was AMAZING and inspiring. Free entry got you access to gree vegetarian and vegan food samples, live music, dedicated speakers, animal rights organization tables and cruelty-free prodcut samples. Organized by Compassion Over Killing, the festival was sponsored and attended by 25+ restaurant vendors, 30+ non-profit organizations and 50+ commercial vendors. Turnout was still pretty impressive despite the weather. Be sure to check it out next year if you missed it this time!
