Meatless Mondays at W&M

Meatless Mondays is a nation-wide initiative to reduce meat intake by going vegetarian every Monday. Dozens of college campuses, K-12 schools, and other institutions are implementing Meatless Mondays into their menus. It began initially as a way to ration food during war, but now is done for generally environmental, ethical, and health reasons. Reducing meat consumption saves water, energy, and animals, and has been linked to a decreased likelihood of chronic preventable diseases. William & Mary Dining Services is super excited

to be kicking off Meatless Mondays year-round! We encourage everyone to take the pledge to go meatless on Mondays to benefit the environment, animals, and yourself. You can sign the pledge on Mondays in the Caf or at Sadler. And be sure to like our Facebook page!
